The Grey Bruce Health Coalition will hold a public town hall on private health care in Owen Sound on Wednesday, Nov. 4.
The meeting starts at 7 p.m. at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre, 1900 3rd Ave. E., according to event listings from the Canadian Health Coalition and OCHU-CUPE, the Ontario Council of Hospital Unions. The Canadian Health Coalition lists it among town halls that provincial and territorial health coalitions are holding across the country.
The Canadian Health Coalition says the town halls are free and open to the public, and are meant to discuss what is at stake for public health care and how to stop the spread of for-profit medicine in Canada.
