Lost & Found board

Scam warning: The Banner does not verify posts or ownership. Never send money, gift cards or deposits to get a pet or item back, and never pay for “shipping” or “transport”. Ask for proof only you or the real owner would know, meet in a public place, and report suspected fraud to the OPP and the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre (1-888-495-8501).

Posts come down automatically after 30 days (posters can renew once), or as soon as the poster tells us it's reunited. To reply, use the “Reply through the Banner” form on a post: we pass your message on and never publish it.

• Think it's yours? Expect the poster to ask for a detail only the owner would know, a vet or microchip registry record, or photos of you with the animal.
• Found an animal? A vet or shelter can scan for a microchip, and the registry contacts the owner.
• Found a wallet, ID, cards or keys? Take ID and cards to the OPP (non-emergency 1-888-310-1122) or the issuer, not through this board.
• Meet in a public place, such as an OPP station lobby. The Banner doesn't handle rewards or payments.
