Wildlife & Outdoors
Hunting and fishing seasons, trails, rivers and conservation-area news for the weekend ahead.
Every Friday afternoon, before the weekend, we'll round up what's open and what's closing: hunting seasons for the Wildlife Management Units around Chatsworth, fishing seasons and sanctuaries, trail and conservation-area notices, river conditions and flood messages.
Seasons and rules come from Ontario's published hunting and fishing regulations, and notices from the Grey Sauble and Saugeen Valley conservation authorities. We link to each one. The official regulations always govern, so check them before you go.
Where the facts come from:
- Ontario Hunting Regulations Summary and Ontario Fishing Regulations Summary
- Grey Sauble Conservation Authority and Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority notices
- Bruce Trail Conservancy and Grey County trail notices
The first Wildlife & Outdoors is on the way.
