Privacy
We collect only what we need to run the paper and keep you informed, and we don't sell your information.

What we collect
When you use our contact, letter, tip or calendar forms, what you enter is processed by our form provider, Formspree, and delivered to the newsroom by email so we can respond. Newsletter and alert sign-ups are handled by our email provider, Beehiiv, which stores your email address so it can send you the Banner. You can unsubscribe from any email.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page visits. It doesn't use cookies, build a profile of you or follow you across sites. We don't run advertising trackers, sell your information or build an advertising profile.
Weather
Weather and alerts come from Environment Canada, with Open-Meteo as a backup. Our server makes those requests; they don't include your name or email.
Your information
To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, email news@chatsworthbanner.ca.
