Digital parking permits for 2027 are now available to residents of The Blue Mountains, the town said Nov. 4.
Permits must be renewed every year. Existing 2026 permits remain valid until Dec. 31, 2026, but residents need a new permit for 2027, the town said.
Residents can register online or at Town Hall. Those with a household account can renew by logging in and choosing "Add Permit." Resident permits cost $0.00, and current proof of residency is required. The town said a renewal reminder email from its permit provider, GTechna, is legitimate.
Friends and Family permits are $5 plus HST per day, for up to 14 days a year, according to the town.
The town also reminded drivers that winter parking restrictions run from Nov. 1 to April 15, 2027, with no overnight parking on town roads between 2 a.m. and 7 a.m.
Questions can go to the town's By-law Enforcement department at 519-599-3131 ext. 249.
