MADD Canada's Project Red Ribbon, its annual holiday campaign against impaired driving, runs from Nov. 1 to Jan. 4, the organization said.
Chapter volunteers will hand out red ribbons and car decals for people to display on vehicles, key chains and other belongings as a pledge to drive sober, according to MADD Canada. The local chapter is MADD Huron/Bruce.
This is the 39th year of the campaign, MADD Canada said. Ribbons and decals are also available at madd.ca or by emailing info@madd.ca.
This year's campaign honours Suparna and Suranjan Das, and campaign materials are available in Bengali for the first time, MADD Canada said. The hashtag is #ProjectRedRibbon.
