The Town of The Blue Mountains will hold a community engagement session on Thursday, Nov. 19, from 5 to 7 p.m. at town hall, 32 Mill St., Thornbury, about the tennis courts at 208 Peel St. N.
The town said in a notice that the session will update residents on rehabilitating the courts and ask what they would like to see on the rest of the property.
Council approved rehabilitating the courts and formalizing a recreation trail, parking and access in the 2026 budget, according to the notice. Staff and the landscape architect have identified possible additions, including a playground, more seating and shade, which would go to council for budget approval if the community supports them.
The session will include a presentation and questions. It will be recorded and posted to the project page.
