Shawn Greig elected mayor of Chatsworth in certified results

Official results. The Township of Chatsworth's Municipal Clerk and Returning Officer certified the election results (Form EL 34) and declared the elected candidates (Form EL 35) on Oct. 27, 2026.

Shawn Greig has been elected mayor of Chatsworth with 1,586 votes, according to the township's certified results for the Oct. 26 municipal election. Diana Rae was elected deputy mayor with 1,253 votes. Margie Stafford, J.D. Ceaser and Chris Evans were elected to the three council seats.

2,528 ballots were cast out of 6,424 eligible electors, a turnout of 39.35 per cent, with 12 rejected ballots, according to the clerk's certification.
