Officers were called to the collision at about 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 28, according to the South Bruce OPP release, as published by the Kincardine Record. Police said officers saw signs of impairment in the driver during their investigation, and he was arrested.
Police named the accused as Kurt Magwood, 56, of Brockton. He is charged with:
- operation while impaired (alcohol and drugs)
- operation while impaired with a blood-alcohol concentration of 80 or more

- failure or refusal to comply with a demand
He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton on Nov. 25.
Police said the vehicle was towed and impounded for seven days, and the accused's driver's licence was suspended for 90 days.
The release does not say whether anyone was hurt or describe damage to the house.
